A forest, a rest

A short film inspired by the forest and nature, passing time, and memories.

Inspired by Mike Mills and The National’s short film, I Am Easy To Find.

In the forest, for a rest

Wandering under wind and leaves

Wondering about the future, the past

Dancing sunspots mirror thoughts

Treading the same path over and over

Wondering how the sky stays up

Worries flow, worries flood

The snap of sticks, the snap of synapses

Roots spread, stretch, twist, touch

Doubts follow like shadows

You see art, other people nothing

Fearing you will always feel so lost

In awe of nature, you don’t compare

Saving the sharpest blade for yourself

Through the looking glass

Being watched, watching

Heavy cloud never far away

Are you good enough?

What will you leave behind?

Waiting for wings of hope

Love spreads

Life, hope, free

Time floats

Listen

Breathe
