The latest release by La Petite Chambre Records gloriously captures the sounds of nature dreaming
although hours appear lighter
and spring is officially only days away,
an aching heaviness still
covers almost every blade
of grass and hangs above
slow, drifting clouds.
they are searching for something
searching for any–
then they happen to spot
watercolour flowers
calming and calling,
wet and ripe
and dreaming in sounds.

out from these blooms grow
wings that glide through sun rays
and take rest on branches.
reeds sway and sigh in a river
awash with an artist’s palette.
while roots stretch
and greet spring awakening,
warm soil births minerals
plus, movement and mystery:
nature’s life force.
the valley now swoons
with the weight of bees busy
with life, dancing electric.
young rabbits emerge from below
and they watch their tails leap from a forest home.

sat on a sun porch decked in shadow
they listen to a thousand voices
from the river and the sky
and wait for fireflies to glow
with the hope of tomorrow.
Sonho das Flores is special. Warm and inviting, a truly living microcosm of sound. These are the sounds of nature dreaming — the sounds of nature singing.
